Mecca brings a distinctive skillset to the Firm’s trial practice. She served the Georgia Supreme Court as a Clerk specializing in Petitions for Certiorari, as the Chief of Staff to Justice Carol W. Hunstein and as a Judicial Intern for Justice Robert Benham. Prior to joining The Cochran Firm, Mecca honed her skills at a boutique litigation firm renowned for both its trial and appellate expertise.
Mecca was selected as a 2017 member of the GTLA LEAD Program. She is an alumna of the State Bar of Georgia’s Young Lawyers’ Division Leadership Academy. She also serves in the leadership for the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys’ Professional Development Academy.
Mecca’s practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury cases arising from trucking and auto accidents, negligent security, medical malpractice and breaches of civil rights.
